This special adapter is for connecting an Xin super mini amp to a home audio equipment. Only amps with a digital volume control and are V5.18 or later that has no built-in protection circuit may need this adapter, to avoid possible clipping when used with home audio. You don't need this adapter for portable audio devices. If your amp has an analog pot, you don't have to use this adapter. Gold-plated contacts and precision (1%) film resistors ensure durable and good sounding. It is so small (tiny), it will never be hassle to use. This adapter can be used in any case where you need to reduce signal by half.
